Welcome to 28 Glenview Drive! Stone Ridge is a quiet neighborhood that was established nearly 16 years ago. With low traffic, it is the perfect neighborhood for bike rides, jogging, and taking walks with children and dogs. This is the home where we got engaged, brought our baby home from the hospital, and have made so many positive family memories.  Living at 28 Glenview Drive has been low-maintenance, and we have enjoyed our time here immensely.  

Within five miles of the house you can pop down to downtown Scotia to catch a movie, or head to Jumpin’ Jacks and Freedom Park for music and community events. In the other direction, Glenville offers a Target, Panera, Hannaford, Market 32, and Aldi. There is an Urgent Care at Socha Plaza two miles from the house. The Schenectady bike trail is also a short distance away that can be reached easily by bike or car.

With a professional woodworking background specializing in hand tools and 18th Century furniture and architecture, we have been able to make many custom improvements to the house. Features such as a custom library in the loft, a built-in desk and cupboards for lots of storage in one of the first-floor bedrooms, a coffered ceiling in the dining room, a saltbox cedar shed in the backyard, crown molding and wall frames all make this home unique in this neighborhood. When the sun enters through the skylights, it is truly a bright and beautiful space to enjoy with family and friends.

Our favorite part about this home has been our neighbors. The neighbors on Glenview Drive have been like family to us. There is always someone there to get your mail and take care of pets while you’re away, to snow blow your driveway when you have the flu, and someone to drop by with food when you most need it. The neighbors are social, friendly, and kind, and they make it such a wonderful and special place to live. You will enjoy casual conversations at the mailbox, ladies wine nights, guys poker nights, holiday parties, and family barbeques. 

Twenty eight Glenview Drive has been an amazing home, and has served all of our needs for many years.  We will always look back fondly upon our memories here, and we wish the same for you and your family.
